Al Azif
The mad writer Abdullah Al-Hazrad and his first journey to discover the lost city of Eram, where evil spirits live ordinary lives. Built on the book from H. P. Lovecraft’s stories, designed to grow into a feature film.
Adventure Palace
Three friends and the funny situations of a big palace. We created the characters for Saudi Milk’s (SADAFCO) flavoured milk packs and a cartoon series around them with Spacetoon. The first season aired to a warm reception.
Agent-B12
A parallel world where robots live just like us, with cities, restaurants and dreams. One of them dreams of being a police officer, but his intelligence does not help him much.
Farm Friends
A farm of animal friends, from a cow and a bear to a rabbit, a squirrel and a monkey, each with a home of their own. We designed the characters and their world and produced the pilot episode.
Foolyz
Short funny episodes for kids starring Nabet and Demmes, two very dumb bean-like brothers who find themselves in a new funny situation every day.
Choco Bear
Our own proof of concept for kids’ commercials: a fluffy bear who lives in a tree trunk, works in a crazy factory and gets kids excited about every milk flavour.
Animation captured from real performance
Our in-house motion capture runs on Xsens, the suit used by studios worldwide. An actor performs the scene and every movement lands on the character, so it moves with real weight and timing.
It speeds up production and opens up action that is slow to animate by hand, for film, series, games and commercials.
Dumiah means doll
Dumiah is the Arabic word for doll: the first character a child ever brings to life. A few of us kept that childhood imagination alive, and in 2017 it became a studio.
We started Dumiah to raise the level of animation made for Arab audiences. Since then we have worked on originals and co-productions at the finest quality we can reach.
